Marie L. (LaLiberte) Graves, 100, of Hudson, died on Thursday, Dec. 18 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro. She was the beloved wife of James Roy Graves who died in 1951 at age 41.
She was born in Lowell, daughter of the late John and Pauline (Veo) LaLiberte. She moved to Hudson at age 5 with her family and has resided in Hudson for 90 years until moving to Beaumont in Northboro 6 years ago. She spent many years as a housekeeper for several wonderful families in Hudson and was a member and former secretary for the Hudson Senior Center. She was also a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie Gray of Berlin; her granddaughter, Kerry Carlucci and her husband Scott of Berlin and her two great grandchildren, Nicolas and Alana Marie Carlucci.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA, (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
