Marie T. Montecalvo

Marie T. Montecalvo, 94, of Hudson, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 11th at Christopher House in Worcester.

Marie was born in Medford, MA, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen (McKay) Montecalvo and was the last survivor of eight children. She was raised in Hudson where she lived for 75 years and was a graduate of Hudson High School, Class of 1941. She was a member of the Hudson Historical Society, Hudson Library Book Club, Jericho Hill Ski Club, an avid golfer and loved to travel. She enjoyed trips to Greece, France, Italy and other parts of Europe. Marie was also an accomplished pianist and enjoyed spending summers in Falmouth, MA.

Marie is survived by her seventeen nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews as well as several great, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Earl Montecalvo, Guy Montecalvo, Francis Montecalvo, Connie Kane, Elizabeth Cordella, Grace West and May Montecalvo.

There will be a calling hour from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME  50 Central St. Hudson, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM in St. Michael Parish, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA. Final committal services in St. Michael Cemetery, Hudson.In lieu of flowers memorial donation can be made to Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA 01749.
