Marilyn (Sawyer) Mulvaney-71, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at the Summerville at Deercreek Nursing Home in Deerfield Beach, FL.
She was the wife of the late Emmett Mulvaney who died in 1998.
Born in Bar Harbor, ME, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Colpitts) Sawyer.
She resided in Hudson, MA from 1964 to 2004. She moved to Boca Raton, FL in 2004.
She was employed at Marlborough Hospital in Marlborough, MA as a secretary until her retirement.
She is survived by her children; Steve Mulvaney and his wife Judith of Mount Pleasant, SC., James Mulvaney and his wife Alisha of Leominster, MA, Michael Mulvaney of Hudson, MA, Theresa Lowe of Clinton, MA and Karen Mulvaney of Boca Raton, FL. She is also survived by her brother Howard Sawyer; her sister, Terry Perry, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Linda Sutton who died in 2005.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, June 4, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 3, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
