Marjorie L. (Nugent) Donaruma-73, of Hudson, MA died Friday, December 14, 2007 at U-Mass Memorial Healthcare, Belmont Street in Worcester, MA.
She was the wife of the late John J. Donaruma Sr. who died in March of 1997. They were married 28 years.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Monroe) Nugent.
Mrs. Donaruma grew up in the Needham, Wellesley area and was a graduate of Saint Bernard's H.S., class of 1952 in West Newton, MA. She moved to Hudson with her husband in 1974 after residing in Mansfield, MA for a short time.
She always enjoyed the yearly vacations in Boothbay Harbor, ME with her husband and children and was a devoted grandmother to her 3 grandchildren. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her son, John J. Donaruma Jr. of Hudson, MA; her daughter Leanne Vorce and her husband Edward of Hudson, MA; and her brother, Joseph Henry Nugent Jr. and his wife Sally of Sudbury, MA.
She also leaves 3 grandchildren, Jace, Zachary and Adam Vorce along with several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning Street Hudson MA. Burial will take place in New North Cemetery, Sudbury. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
