Mark D. Boutin, 53, of Marlboro, died Monday, May 21st at Marlboro Hospital. He is survived by his father, Joseph H. Boutin of Hudson and pre-deceased by his mother, Lily A. (Lomas) Boutin in 2010. He is also survived by his son, Christopher Boutin of Chicopee; his sister, Jo Ann Sedam of Northboro; his three brothers, Michael Boutin of Ausable Forks, NY, Matthew Boutin of Hubbardston, Jean Boutin of Marlboro; his two grandchildren, Christopher A. Boutin and Alexia M. Boutin and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was born in Wareham and spent many years residing in Marlboro. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1981 to 1984 when he was honorably discharged. Following his service in the Air Force, he was employed as a non-destructive testing technician for several local companies including Conam Inspection and Miller Engineering. Mark enjoyed fishing and camping in his spare time and was well known for his care and shelter of animals in need. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets.
Funeral services and burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
