Mark Santos

Mark Santos, 53, of Hudson, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2025. He leaves his loving daughter Jacquelin Santos of Hudson, MA along with Jacquelin’s mother Christina M. (DiDuca) Santos of Maynard, MA. He also leaves behind his sister Donna C. Foley of New Hampshire, previous long term domestic partner Patty (Henrie) Devlin of Hudson, MA and her three children, and many close friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his 2 brothers, David and Peter Santos.

Mark was born in Marlborough, MA, son of the late Joaquim and Patricia (Davis) Santos. He was raised in Hudson where he attended local schools and was a 1989 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough, MA. Mark continued his education while working, eventually receiving a bachelor’s degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2001, graduating in the top percentile of his class. He was a software engineer by trade working for many years with Stratus Technologies in Maynard, MA. He later spent time contracting Verizon and Hitachi Consulting until he retired due to health concerns.

Mark was very active in his younger years. He was very proud of his skills as a drummer, playing live shows in local bands. His love of music continued throughout his life and he cherished the many concerts he attended. He loved nature, maintaining bountiful vegetable gardens over the years and taking frequent camping and hiking trips in the White Mountains in New Hampshire and visiting the Cape Cod seashore over the years. He leaves many warm memories behind for his loved ones to cherish forever.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 18th, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street Hudson, MA. A service and Celebration of Mark's Life will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home; Procession to Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA will immediately follow for Committal Services.
