Mary Barrett, 101, died Tuesday May 10, 2005 at her daughter's home. Born in Hudson she was daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Healy) Creedon. She was wife of the late John H. Barrett who died in 1976. Mary spent many years at her summer home on Lake Winnipesauke in Moultonborough, NH and winters in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mary was a homemaker who was an avid bingo player as well enjoyed craft's, quilting, sewing and knitting. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading fiction. Survived by her children John H. Jr and Kathryn (Toomey) Barrett of Reading, Robert E. and Eleanor (Mitchell) Barrett of Florida and Carol Lapierre and her husband George of Hudson. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central Street Hudson with a funeral Mass May 13, 2005 at 9AM in St. Michael's Church 21 Manning St. Hudson. Visiting hours will be held Thursday May 12, 2005 from 6-8PM. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Marlboro.
