Mary A. Gillan, 98, of Hudson, died on Friday, March 4th at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Patrick J. Gillan who died in 1993.
Mary was born in County Clare, Ireland, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Brennan) Quinn and was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. She spent most of her life in the care of her home and enjoyed all the times she shared with family and friends.
She is survived by her two sisters, Teresa Gunning of Framingham and Bridget McGee of Quincy. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Kathy Zompetti of Framingham, Michael Gunning of Marlboro, Ann Marie Stanley of Weymouth and Deborah Barber of Peabody.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. There are no calling hours.
