Mary Paul (Garcia) Hazeldine, 89, a lifelong Hudson resident, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, with her family by her side, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Hazeldine, who predeceased her in 1977.
Mary was born in Hudson, MA on March 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Mariano and Caroline Garcia. She was raised in town and graduated from Hudson Catholic High School. She subsequently attended secretarial school and after graduation began a long and productive career with Digital Corp and Intel.
Mary was a member of Saint Michael Parish. She was also a longtime member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion. Mary cherished her family more than anything else in the world and loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hazeldine of Hudson; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Parent, Jodi Colena, Michael Clement, John Westcott and Gavin Westcott and many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was also predeceased by son, Robert Hazeldine; her brothers, Joseph Garcia and Frank Garcia and her granddaughter, Kelli Westcott.
