Mary S. (DuBak) Jackson, 88, a longtime resident of Hudson, died unexpectedly at Marlboro Hospital on Thursday, October 29th. She leaves her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph E. Jackson of Hudson.

Mary was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Alex D. and Auguste (Lukshute) DuBak. She was raised in Hudson where she attended local schools and was employed by several local department stores including the former Woolworth's, Arthur's and Mars Department Stores. She resided in Hudson for most of her life and was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.

Mary enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors doing yard work and gardening. She took great pride in the care of their home and raising her children along with her husband Joseph. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially later with her 4 loving grandchildren and 4 adoring great grandchildren. The memories she leaves will always be cherished by her loved ones.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Sandra Herzog and her husband Donald of Hudson; her son, Robert Jackson of Webster and her sister, Lillian Cox of Hudson. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Sheryl Herzog of Clinton, Carolyn Ingalls of New Hampshire, Alan Herzog of Leominster, Kyle Jackson of Connecticut; four great grandchildren and her niece and nephew.

A funeral service and celebration of Mary's life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Monday, Nov. 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
