Mary “Terri” (Hanscom) McIlveen, 84, of Hudson, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday September 3, 2021, at Sterling Village Nursing Home. She is reunited with her beloved, Robert C. McIlveen of 35 years who predeceased her in 2006.
Terri was born in Lowell, MA on December 12, 1936, one of 9 children of the late Albert and Ellen (Greene) Hanscom. She moved to Hudson at the age of 3 and has been a lifelong resident. Terri was a graduate of Hudson Catholic School in 1954. In her early years she was a majorete and then worked at a shoe factory; finally settling at Thomas Tailors for many years.
Terri is survived by her daughter, Alice Boutwelland her grandson, Jonathan Gerard Boutwell. Jonathan is the assistant D.O.N. of Sterling Village Nursing Home, where he was able to care for Terri and be with her until her final moments. She is predeceased by her 8 siblings, as well as her son, John Fleishcher and her granddaughter, Terri Ellen Boutwell.
Terri loved butterflies, the ocean and was also a huge fan of Elvis. More importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
