Mary L. (Parmenter) Moura

Mary (Parmenter) Moura, 88, of Troy, NH, formerly of Hudson, died suddenly Tuesday, May 6 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH.
Born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Elbridge and Cora (Morel) Parmenter, Mary was raised in Hudson and graduated from the former Saint Michael's Academy in Hudson. She was a clerk in the Hudson Tax Collection office for many years until she retired. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson. Mary loved to write letters to her friends, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed her beloved pets.
She is survived by her nephew, Mark A. Parmenter and his wife Sheryl of Somersworth, NH; her niece, Cynthia Satas and her husband John of Troy, NH and several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mark J. Parmenter; aunt to the late Lynda Hamilton and the late Virginia Perry and great aunt to the late Cynthia London.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 10, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Weeks Cemetery, Marlboro. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
