Mary A. Perkins, 85, of Hudson, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Marlboro Hospital in Marlboro. She was the wife of the late Merton Perkins who died in 1995. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Moura) Simoes. She was employed by the former Braga Shoe Company as an assembler until her retirement. She was a member of Women of The Moose in Marlboro and Saint Michael Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her daughters Ann and Patricia Perkins both of Hudson, Mary and her husband Charles Pitard Sr. of Berlin and Rose Bairos of Hudson. She was the mother-in-law of the late Anthony Bairos. She is also survived by her two sisters Carol Borella of Hudson, Diane Cummings of Stow, her brother Richard Simoes of Hudson, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Friday, February 17, 2006 with a funeral mass at 9:00am in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 16 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery, Hudson
