Mary C. (Terestre) Sauta, 98, of Hudson, died Saturday, June 20th at her residence. She was the wife of the late Vincenzo J. Sauta.
She was born in Lexington, daughter of the late Sebastion and Vendra (Orifice) Terestre. She owned and operated along with her late husband Sauta's Farm and Farmstand in Hudson for many years.
She is survived by her children, James Sauta and his wife Betty of Stow, John Sauta and his wife Elaine of Syracuse, NY, Charles Sauta and his wife Jean of Hudson, Mary Allen of Marlboro, Theresa Henderson and her husband Richard of Natick, Connie Coffin of Rochester, NH and her daughter-in-law, Lillian Sauta, of Hudson wife of Mary's late son Richard Sauta who died in 2006. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jenny Catino of Waltham, Margaret Amara of Portola, Calif.; 26 Grandchildren; 35 Great Grandchildren; one Great-Great Grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
