Mary A. (Kasper) Sukis-91, of Hudson, MA, died Monday, February 19, 2007, at Marlborough Hospital in Marlborough.
She was the wife of the late Albert Sukis Sr. who died in 1985.
She was born in Nashua, NH, daughter of the late Martin and Amelia (Labednek) Kasper.
She was a graduate of the David Hale Fanning School of Nursing in Worcester, MA, receiving her Nursing degree as an LPN. She also attended Annhurst College of CT, and Assumption College of Worcester, MA.
She taught in the Putnam, CT school system and later taught at the former Saint Bridget's School in Maynard. She was the former manager at the V.A. Assisted Living Home in Hudson at the Maple Grove Farm.
She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish and Catholic Daughters in Hudson. She was an active member of the Grange in Hudson and the Hudson Women's Club. She enjoyed bowling as a member of the bowling league in Northborough.
She is survived by her son, Albert Sukis Jr. and his wife Susan of Hudson. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Nicholas and Ashley Sukis.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
