MaryAnn (Gardinier) Hoffmann, 80, of Hudson, former longtime resident of Natick, died on Monday, Nov. 11th at Marlborough Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. James A. Hoffmann who died in 2001.
MaryAnn was born in Munnsville, NY, daughter of the late Olin and Dorothy (Yauger) Gardinier. She resided in Natick for many years before settling in Hudson in 2000 to be close with her family. She was a long time teacher and music instructor at the New England Conservatory of Music and also enjoyed giving private piano lessons in her spare time. She was an avid reader and truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her loyal cat "Lucifer" whom she cared for.
She is survived by her three children, John Hoffmann and his wife Kyra of New Jersey, Michael Hoffmann and his wife Ruby of Hudson and Susan Hoffmann of New York. She is also survived by her two loving grandchildren, Alisson Haro and Clarissa Hoffmann, both of Hudson.
A funeral service and celebration of MaryAnn's life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend a calling hour prior to the service on Saturday, Nov. 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
