Matthew N. McManus, 43, of Miami, FL, formerly of Hudson, MA, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 26th at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his devoted and loving mother, E. Stacey (Schott) McManus of Coral Gables, FL and was predeceased by his father, Paul D. McManus.

Matthew was born in Framingham and raised in Hudson. He attended local schools and was a 1991 graduate of Algonquin Regional H.S. He later attended the University of Miami where he received his Doctorate of Law Degree. He was the Founder and President of Haute Wealth Management Co. in Miami, FL and Co-Owner of DeTax Company in Miami, FL.

Matthew was a member of the wheelchair tennis USTA for over 20 years, playing in 5 continents. He was honored to be noted as one of the Top 20 Professionals Under Forty in the Brickell Magazine. He enjoyed being actively involved in table tennis along with many other hobbies and interests. Matthew will be fondly remembered as a loving son, loyal friend and very dedicated to his profession.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his uncles, John C. McManus of Clinton, MA, Raymond Schott of Myerstown, PA and Harry Rueppel of Lebanon, PA. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents John C. and Gloria McManus and his maternal grandparents, Earl and Carmela Schott. He is also survived by his beloved fiancAC., Carmen Romero of Miami, FL; his step-mother, Ann Amaru; many cousins and God Daughter, Emily Bieber of Lebanon, PA.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, April 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. (www.tighehamilton.com).
