Maureen E. Sharon, 75, of Hudson, died on Friday, April 4th at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro.
Maureen was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Leonard and Audrey (Woodard) Sharon. She was raised in Hudson and was a 1956 graduate of Saint Michael's Academy in Hudson. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State College in 1960. She began a long career as a teacher in the Berlin Public School System and was a member of the Massachusetts Teacher's Association. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Karvoski of Hudson; her two nephews, Scott Porter and his wife Diana of Hudson and Craig Porter of Yakima, WA and her great niece Meagan Porter of Hudson. She is also survived by her great-great niece Ava Porter of Hudson.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com).
