Mildred A. "Millie" (Mauro) Crue, 70, of Hudson, died on Friday, March 16th at Marlboro Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Crue of Hudson.
Millie was born and raised in Concord, daughter of the late Nicholas and Antoinette Mauro. She was employed for many years as a clerk with the former Reservoir Printing Co. in Marlboro retiring in 2004. She was a long time resident of Hudson and member of the Hudson Eagle's, Moose Lodge of Marlboro and member of the Hudson Amvets Ladies Auxiliary.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her adopted daughter and caregiver, Magan (Houde) Daigle of Maine; her children, William McCarthy of Hudson, Jerry McCarthy of Maynard, Nanette Russello of Greenfield; her step-children, Jason Crue of Worcester, Matthew Crue of Worcester, Caryn Crue-Happy of Sterling; her sister, Margaret Mauro of Florida and brother Fred Perry of New Hampshire. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, David McCarthy in 2009 and was the sister of the late Rosalei Figueroa, Pat Kjersgard and Laura Miles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 on Wednesday, March 21th at 11:00 a.m. Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 20th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
