MARLBOROUGH - Mildred C. "Midge" Dardis, 93, passed away in the presence of her family on Thursday, March 2. She was born & raised in Lawrence, MA the daughter of Paul and Mary (Scuito) DiNoto.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lydia "Lee" Scichilone, and her husband, John of Hudson, and Judith Greenwood of Marlborough; her sister, Evelyn DiDio of Methuen; her three granddaughters, Maria Gautreau and her husband, Dennis of Leominster, Andrea Corrado and her husband, John of Bethlehem PA, and Rebecca Mealey and her husband, Stephen of Shrewsbury; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Stephen P. Dardis; her sisters, Josephine Jacobellis and Angela Zannini; and her brother, Sam DiNoto.

Midge raised her family in Newton and started her own business in the late 50's, opening M'Lady Coiffures Hair Salon in Wellesley Lower Falls. She worked many years as a hair stylist before obtaining her Real Estate Broker's License working at ERA Key Realty.

Midge enjoyed many hobbies including travelling, playing cards and bingo. She was a talented artist and also enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and painting. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 7 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson. Funeral services for Midge will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 8 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Fund, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
