Mildred D. (Davis) Gould-79, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Marlborough Hospital in Marlborough, MA.
She was the wife of 46 years to the late Douglas R. Gould who died in 1993.
Born in Laconia, NH, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice (Swain) Davis.
She was raised in Rochester, NH and was a graduate of Laconia H.S., class of 1945. She moved to Hudson in 1957. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, MA. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Hudson Senior Center working on programs such as the Elder Advocate and Meals on Wheels program in Hudson. She also enjoyed the times she spent as a member of the "Sweet Adeline's", a singing group of Metro-West.
She is survived by her children; Ronald Gould and his wife Judith of Wilmington, MA, Roland Gould and his wife Sarah of Shrewsbury, MA, Michael Gould and his wife Joan of Avon, CT, Rebecca Mimeault and her husband Peter of Northborough, MA, William Gould and his wife Cynthia of Hudson, MA and Brenda Thatcher and her husband David of Brookline, NH. She is also survived by her sister; Minnie Blackey of Laconia, NH, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Jason Gould.
A funeral service will be celebrated by Pastor Dave Warren, Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 14 Walnut Street Clinton, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
