Moses A. Raymond, 78, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully, on Monday, May 11, 2020, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Ma, after a period of declining health. He leaves his beloved wife of 54 years, Marice N. (Wooten) Raymond.
Moses was born in New Orleans, LA, on February 10, 1942, a son of the late Moses and Clothilde (White) Raymond. He was raised in Los Angeles, where he graduated from high school and subsequently enlisted in the United States Army, bravely serving his nation during the Vietnam War. Moses married his beloved wife in 1966 and together they settled in Hudson, MA in 1974, where they raised their two sons and still currently reside.
Moses was a successful business owner and a world traveler. He was a connoisseur of the finer things in life and enjoyed eating good food and driving classic cars. He was especially proud of his Corvette. Moses loved to go Deepsea fishing during his many travels across the globe.
In addition to his beloved wife, Marice N. (Wooten) Raymond, he was also survived by his son Aaron S. Raymond of Hudson, MA; his grandson, Armand Harvey of Los Angeles, CA and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his son Moses Raymond, III and 3 sisters.
Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic restrictions, services will be held privately. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
