Nancy (Luukko) Gaucher, 63, of Marlborough, died Monday, August 6, 2007 at U-Mass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester, MA.
She was the wife of the late, Gerald Gaucher who died in 1983.
She was born in Westborough, MA, daughter of the late Edward Luukko and survived by her mother, Helen Luukko.
She was raised by her parents in Westborough on the Luukko family farm, participating in the many daily chores on the farm with her family. She moved to Marlborough in the 1970's and has resided there the past 35 years.
She was a former manager for the Astra Zeneca Co. in Framingham, MA, until 1982 and also worked for American Way of Marlborough as a livery driver. She had many hobbies but especially enjoyed bingo, attending flea markets, and conducting her own yard sales.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her children, Melinda Gaucher of Fort Lee, VA, Michael Gaucher of Frederick, MD, Jerry Gaucher of Manchester, NH, and Edward and Victoria Gaucher, both of Marlborough, MA. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Pat Campbell of North Carolina, Carol Kaminsky of Hopkington, MA; 2 grandchildren, Robert and Bradley Gaucher of Manchester, NH and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com.) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2007 in the funeral home. Family and friends may attend calling hours Thursday, August 9, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
