Nancy M. (Perkins) Morin

Nancy M. (Perkins) Morin, 63, formerly of Hudson, MA, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of 38 years to Philip K. Morin.  Nancy was born in Marlborough, MA on July 18, 1961, to her late father, George W. Perkins, Jr., and her mother, Janet M. (Senecal) Perkins.  Nancy was raised in Hudson, MA, and graduated with the class of 1979 from Hudson Catholic High School. She then attended Salter Secretarial School in Worcester, MA.  Nancy and Phil lived in Hooksett, NH for many years prior to moving to Prescott Valley, Arizona, 6 years ago.

Nancy is survived by her husband Philip K. Morin; her mother Janet M. (Senecal) Perkins; her sister Lynda M. Collazo; as well as other relatives and friends.  She is predeceased by her father George W. Perkins, Jr., and her brother-in-law Jaime Collazo.

As a young child summer vacations were spent at Hampton Beach.  Later in life family vacations were spent on Cape Cod.  Nancy loved the beach and felt truly at home there.

Nancy was a member of the Hudson CYO Band, the Royal Jades for many years.  She played the clarinet and was also in the rifle colorguard.

Nancy enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting quilts.  She made many beautiful quilts for family and friends.  

Nancy worked as a legal administrative assistant all of her life, 19 of those years having worked at Devine, Millimet & Branch in Manchester, NH.  

Nancy volunteered for a placement service for Greyhounds in Goffstown, NH.  Over the years Nancy and Phil owned many greyhounds. These greyhounds with their warm, loving and gentle manner traveled with Nancy and Phil to most family gatherings. They always became the center of attention at every gathering.  Through the many difficult medical issues Nancy experienced in her life she drew great strength from her "fur babies."

Calling Hours for Nancy will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 4pm-7pm, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA.  A Funeral Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11am, at Saint Michael's Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA.  Commital services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington, MA.
