Nancy A. (Harris) Rand, 75, of Charlestown, NH, former long-time resident of Hudson, passed away on Thursday, May 21st at her residence after a short illness. She leaves her beloved husband Edwin Rand of Charlestown.
Born in Boston, daughter of the late Roy and Melvina (Matthews) Rand, she was a long time resident of Hudson where she raised her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her four sons, Doug Rand and his wife Jodie of Charlestown, NH, Thomas Rand and his wife Lynn of Rochester, MA, Edwin Rand and his wife Karen of Chandler, AZ and Jon Rand and his wife Hope of Charlestown, NH. She is also survived by her brother, Roy Harris of Bow, NH; 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Debra Rand and sister, June Durant.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, May 25th at 12:00 noon at the First Federated Church, 200 Central Street, Hudson. Family and friends may attend a calling hour prior to the service on Monday, May 25th, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
