Nelda M. (DiEorio) Ferruccio-78, of Hudson, MA died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at her home in Hudson.
She was the wife of the late John A. Ferruccio for 55 years who died in 2006.
Born in Hudson, MA, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Desolina (DelPizzo) DiEorio.
Mrs. Ferruccio owned and operated Ferruccio & Son Oil Co. acting as its bookkeeper for many years. She was a graduate of Hudson H.S. class of 1947. She was the class secretary her freshman and junior years of High School. She was a member of Saint Michael's Church in Hudson and former CCD instructor for the parish. She was a former Hudson Cub Scout leader.
She is survived by her children; Kevin J. Ferruccio and his wife Beth of Hudson, Nikki Anderson and her husband John of Leominster. She is also survived by her brother, Camillo "Kelly" DiEoreo of Hudson; seven grandchildren; Allison, Mark, and John Ferruccio, all of Hudson, Daniel and Dylan Anderson and Kristy, and Katey Ramelli all of Leominster.
She was the sister of the late Ann Souza.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 9:45 prior to the mass at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749
