Nicholas Forte, 76 of Hudson, MA, formally of Newton, MA, died Wednesday, October 7, 2006 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of forty three years; Gail (Mahoney) Forte.
Besides his wife he is survived by his three daughters; Stacy Gilbar and her husband Dan of Hudson, Darlene Siewierski and her husband David of Stow and Karen Lapierre and her husband Peter of Hubbardston.
He is also survived by his two brothers; Angelo Forte of Newton, Salvatore Forte of Newton, one sister; Mary Colorusso of Billerica, seven grandchildren; Kerri (Gilbar) Ford and her husband Matt, Jeffrey Gilbar, Heather Siewierski, D.J. Siewierski, Courtney Lapierre, Justine Lapierre, Joshua Lapierre and three Great-Grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Pasquale, Peter and Anthony Forte.
Born in Newton, MA, he was the son of the late Orazio and Incoranata (Bibbo) Forte. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Town of Newton Highway Dept. for 35 years as a supervisor. He loved to visit Maine especially his times at his home in York, ME. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing card games and cherished the time he spent with his family. He was a member of the Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be Saturday, October 7, 2006, from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
