Noreen E. Morse

Noreen E. (Hopkins) Morse, 71, of Hudson, MA, formerly of Westminster, MA, died on Monday, November 18, 2024, at her residence. 

Noreen was born in Waltham, MA, daughter of the late Harold H. and Ellen C. (Gallagher) Hopkins. She was raised in Acton, MA and was a graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School. She began a career of public service as an EMT in the town of Boxborough, a dispatcher in the town of Littleton and served a short time as a police officer in Townsend MA. She resided in Lunenburg MA, South Dakota and Westminster MA prior to settling in Hudson.

Noreen is the loving mother of 4 children and leaves behind her daughters, Roni Lynn Esielionis of Groton, MA and Bridgit Masciarelli and her husband Stephen of Hudson, MA and her sons, Daniel MacGregor with his fiancé Alacin Fanning of Maynard, MA and Duncan MacGregor with his significant other Ashley Redfern of Fitchburg, MA. She is survived by many siblings; Ryan Hopkins and his wife Jill of Gardner, MA, Lynn Jones and her husband Kevin of Washington State, Sheila Hopkins of Washington State, Lisa Wellington and her husband Dave of West Virginia and Colleen Isley and her husband Neil of Washington State. She is predeceased by her sister Cathy Flynn. Noreen was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren; Andrew Esielionis, Gary Masciarelli, Amy Esielionis and Grace Masciarelli. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Noreen had several hobbies and interests but her favorite pastime was reading. She always looked forward to vacations on Cape Cod, and was an excellent cook. She will be forever remembered by all who loved and knew her.

 Family and friends may gather at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA to remember Noreen on Monday, December 2, 2024, with visiting hours from 4:00 to 6:30pm with a celebration of life at 6:30pm.
