Odiseas "Ulysses" Mitsoulis, 77, of Bolton, died Wednesday, Aug. 17th at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 38 years, Angela (Curtis) Mitsoulis of Bolton.
Mr. Mitsoulis was born and raised in Albania, son of the late George and Chrisula (Kaltsas) Mitsoulis. He escaped from Russian Communist occupied Albania at age 13 to Greece to live with his grandparents. He moved to the states at age 21 and has resided in Bolton the past 30 years and Hudson for 10 years prior to Bolton. He owned and operated the Hudson House of Pizza for 25 years and the Bolton House of Pizza for 3 years. He sold the two pizza restaurants in Hudson and Bolton and later owned operated the Pizza King in Leominster for 3 years until selling the business and retiring in 2000. He was a member of the AHEPA Club in Worcester and member of Saints Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church in Marlboro.
Mr. Mitsoulis was a loving husband, devoted father and dedicated businessman. He was known to help the needy and wealthy throughout his years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Kiriakos Mitsoulis of Bolton; his daughter, Anastasia Mitsoulis of Bolton and was predeceased by his daughter, Chrisula Mitsoulis in 2006.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Saints Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Cashman Street, Marlboro. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Bolton. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Fr. Peter D. Costarakis will conduct the traditional Trisagion Service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
