Owen M. Kilcommins

Owen Michael Kilcommins, 83, of Hudson, formerly of Cape Cod and Needham, passed away peacefully on Friday, March, 29, 2019, at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Westboro, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 54 years, Claire F. (Conley) Kilcommins.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his three sons, Michael and his wife Kristen, Paul and his wife Patti and John and his wife Maureen; his sister, Mary Coleman and 5 grandchildren, Abigail, Ryan, Shannon, Katherine and Erin.

Following his high school graduation, Owen enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served from 1958 until 1960. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and married Claire (Conley) Kilcommins on June 6, 1964. Together they settled in Needham, MA, where they raised their family and resided for many years before eventually retiring to Cape Cod and eventually to Hudson in 2011. Owen had a long and successful career working for over forty years at Eversource.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Owen at Saint Michael Parish in Hudson on April 22, 2019 at 9:00 am.  Arrangements are under the care of Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home.
