Patricia L. (Ryan) Corcoran, 80, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Leo A. and Arianna L. (Stearns) Ryan.
Her husband of 34 years, John L. Corcoran, passed away in 2015. She leaves her daughter, Maria Bertrand and her husband, Tom of Marlborough; four step-children, John Corcoran and his wife, Yasmina of San Diego, Kathleen and her husband, Jerry of Charleston, Timothy Corcoran and his wife, Lisa of Framingham, and Kevin Corcoran and his wife, Angelica of Ashland; her sister, Rita Mirante of West Boylston; her daughter-in-law, Carla Chartrand of West Boylston; eleven grandchildren, Joshua, Rachael, Alicia, Megan, Derrick, Anna, Shane, Carol Ann, Amanda, Kevin, Jr. and Leo; her great-granddaughter, Raelynn; and many nieces and nephews including her niece, Brenda who took exceptional care of her. She was predeceased by her son, David Chartrand, and seven sisters, Virginia, Madeline, Arianna, Leona, Marion, Barbara and Helen.
Patricia was an administrative assistant for Digital Equipment for many years. After retiring, she became a crossing guard in Hudson and loved all the children she kept safe. As a Christian woman, she loved to help others as often as she could. She also loved to attend music recitals and sporting events for her grandchildren, travel with her husband and spending ample time with her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Feb. 12th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson. Funeral services for Patricia have changed and now will be held on WEDNESDAY, February 15th with a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. A private committal service will be held at a later date at Forestvale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
