Patricia “Pat” Grace Lambert, 75, of Hudson, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born on December 23, 1946 in New York, NY to the late William and Margaret (Feola) Farley. Both she and her husband Robert are longtime residents of Hudson.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert. She leaves behind two sisters, a daughter, two sons and grandchildren. She is survived by family and friends who loved her strength, sense of humor, and generosity.
Pat was a longtime advocate for the homeless, first as a case worker and later as the Director of the Worcester Housing Information Center. After her retirement from social services, she became a Red Cross Certified Swim Instructor at the Longfellow Tennis and Health Club in Wayland, MA. She loved to teach others how to buoy themselves up from whatever situation or struggle they were experiencing. While off the clock, she would spend much of her personal time helping her friends and family achieve stability, goals and dreams. She loved the ocean, her garden, her dogs and basketball. Pat also loved being a politically active person. The world will miss her peace and sense of social justice. One of her last requests was to her friends: "Keep up the good fight!"
