Patricia May (King) McCarthy, 83, a lifelong resident of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5th following a courageous battle with cancer at the Rose Monahan Hospice Center in Worcester, MA. She was the youngest daughter of the late Loren and Elsie King of Hudson.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Paul E. McCarthy, her two sons, Michael and his wife Alice Mary of Louden, NH and Stephen and his wife Pamala of Ashland, MA, her three grandsons, Bradford, Shane and Jeffrey McCarthy and her great grandson Aiden McCarthy.
She is also survived by two brothers, Stuart King and his wife Laura of Hudson, Loren King and his wife Ann of Clinton, MA along with many nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her sisters Clara Crouse and Loraine Russo.
Pat attended local schools and was a 1948 graduate of Hudson High School. She had enjoyed many years of travelling with her husband to Virginia Beach Va. and most recently to Ft. Myers FL.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. There will be no calling hours. Donations in Pat's memory can be made to The Hudson Community Food Pantry, 28 Houghton St. Hudson, Mass. 01749.
