Patricia E. (McNary) Zanca, 78, beloved wife of 61 years to David E. Zanca of Hudson; cherished mother of Donna Zanca of Hudson, Jim Zanca and his wife Barbara of Orange, David M. Zanca and his spouse Rob Palmer of Hudson and Lisa Zanca Queen of New Hampshire. Patricia was predeceased by her son, Danny Zanca in 1980 and her son-in-law Peter Queen. She is also survived by her six loving grandchildren, Angela, Tony, Joe, Allie, Katie, and Elizabeth; her two sister's Dottie (McNary) Risser of Hudson, Ginny (McNary) Baron of Orleans; her brother, Bill McNary of Princeton and was a great grandmother, aunt, and great aunt to many who loved her.
Pat passed away on May 26th at her home in Hudson surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 16 month battle with cancer. She inspired everyone around her to stay strong and brave and always keep a positive attitude. This self-described "tough old bird" kept all who knew her smiling right up to the end.
Patricia's wishes were to have a private burial service in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-AHamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
In lieu of flowers, Pat requested that donations be made to the Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, P.O Box 808, Hudson, MA, 01749.
