Patrick J. Doherty, 92, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Aug. 29th at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Marlboro surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Winifred S. (Rocks) Doherty of Hudson.
Patrick was born and raised in Ireland, son of the late Berney and Cassie (McGonagle) Doherty. He has been a long time resident of Hudson and resided in Boston for a short time prior to Hudson. He was a former contractor for the U.S. Government until his retirement. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Patrick was predeceased by his son Alan Doherty and leaves his several siblings; his sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Friday, Aug. 31st from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral mass on Friday, Aug. 31st at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson.
