Paul Anastas, 76, of Hudson, died on Saturday, June 13th at Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marlboro. He was the husband of the late Madeline R. (Terrasi) who died in 1995.
Born in Worcester, son of the late Harry A. and Madeline (Pandolph) Anastas, Paul was a 1951 graduate of Hudson H.S. and was a member of the 1951 state championship Hudson H.S. baseball team. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by the former LaPointe Machine Co. of Hudson and later as a supervisor by the former Digital Equipment Corp. He was the co-owner of the former A&A Pizza of Hudson and was an avid Golfer.
He is survived by his sons, Paul and Michael Anastas, both of Marlboro; his daughters, Diane Graham-Anders and Sandra DeMarco, both of Hudson and his brother, John "Jack" Anastas of Hudson. He is also survived by his seven Grandchildren and his many cousins.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16th at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 15th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
