Paul C. Mills, 74, of Worcester, formerly of Hudson, passed away on Monday, Nov. 9th at home, after a long illness.
He is survived by his son, Leslie Mills Phillips and his wife Carol of Messina, NY; his sisters, Patricia Downs and her husband Robert of Lancaster, Juanita Regan of Canada and Pauline Sutherland and her husband George of Canada. He also leaves his long time friend and caregiver, James Morin of Worcester and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Hudson on Sept. 12, 1935, the only son of Gladys Mills, he resided in Hudson most of his life where he attended Hudson Schools. He served with the National Guards for 14 years and was a lifetime member of the Hudson Amvets, Post 208. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Marlboro.
Mr. Mills retired from Design Pak in Marlboro. He enjoyed his trips to Canada and Maine and also was an excellent cook, enjoyed flea markets and yard sales. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12th at the funeral home prior to the service.
