Paul A. Panneton, 44, devoted husband, beloved father, son, brother and uncle, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 23rd at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. He leaves his wife of 16 years, Elsa (Chaves) Panneton of Hudson.
Paul was born in Marlboro, son of Roland J. Panneton of Hudson and the late Dorothy M. (Millett) Panneton who died in 1994. He was a lifelong resident of Hudson and graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical H.S., class of 1983. He attended Northeastern University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering and was currently employed as an electrical engineer for the past 9 years by Clark*Cutler*McDermott Co. of Franklin and prior to that was employed by the former R&D Electric of Westborough and R.T. Engineering of Franklin. Paul was an avid sports fan and contributed greatly to the Hudson Youth Baseball program as a former director and head coach. Paul enjoyed his collection of trains and always looked forward to his many vacations with family and friends.
Besides his wife and father, he is survived by his children, D.J. Panneton and Hunter Panneton both of Hudson; his two brothers, Carl T. Panneton of Hudson, John J. Panneton and his wife Carol of Sligo, PA and his sister, Nancy M. Bissonnette and her husband Bob of Torrington, CT. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Nicole, Elizabeth, Cole, Sean, Cassandra and Sterling.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will take place at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 27th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
