Paul F. Willwerth, 68, of Northborough, formerly of Hudson, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 27th at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Joyce (Dube) Willwerth of Northborough.
Paul was born and educated in Arlington, son of the late Francis and Ines (Soracco) Willwerth and has resided in Northborough the past 23 years. He was employed by the Polaroid Corp. in Cambridge and Waltham for 36 years until retiring at age 55. He later spent a few years working part-time as a consultant for Performance Indicators of Woburn. Paul was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed driving his 1962 Corvette convertible, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his two sons, Philip Willwerth and Paul Willwerth Jr. and his wife Christina and two grandchildren, Gwyn and Max Willwerth, all of Berlin. He is also survived by his sister, Jane Morgan and her husband George of Burlington; his brother Frank Willwerth and his wife Pamela of Arlington along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 31st from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. A celebration of Paul's life will follow calling hours on Monday at the Hudson Elks, 91 Park Street, Hudson.
