Paula J. Peabody, 44, of Worcester, formerly of Hudson, died Thursday, March 25th at her residence after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Jeannette (Boisselle) Peabody of South Venice, FL and was predeceased by her father, Ronald R. Peabody. She is also survived by her children, Jessica Jordan of Hudson, Michael Earnst of Auburn, Faith Dunlevy of Florida; her sister, Gail Leombruno of Lunenburg; her three brothers, Doug Peabody of St. Petersburg, FL, Michael Peabody of Stow, Scott Peabody of Shingle Springs, CA; two grandchildren, Savanna Jordan-Martin, Krystal Jordan-Martin; her dear friend, Lee Jordan of Hudson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paula was born in Marlboro and resided in Hudson most of her life. She attended local schools and was a 1984 graduate of Hudson H.S. She worked as a secretary for the Raytheon Co. in Wayland for several years. Paula was well known for her cooking and baking skills and shared many treats she prepared with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean and was an avid Yankee fan. Most of all, she cherished the times she spent with her grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 10th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Paula's life following the mass at the Hamilton Hall, 48 Central Street, Hudson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paula may be made to: American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
