Paulette Edith Naves, 57, a lifelong Marlborough resident, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday June 12, 2021, after a heroic battle with cancer.
Paulette was born in Marlborough, MA, on May 6, 1964, the daughter of Dora Anastas (Stephens) Naves and the late Thomas Joseph Naves. Paulette was raised in Marlborough, where she graduated from high school and still resided.
After high school, Paulette studied psychology at Regis College. Her true passion for culinary arts took shape in her gourmet basket company, “Hungry Heart.” She then transitioned her talents into the popular Kaper’s Cafe in Westborough, later lost in a fire. She continued to evolve, pursuing an education in holistic wellness, channeling her love of cooking and nutrition into coaching others towards healthier lifestyles.
When she wasn’t devoting her time to the wellness of others, Paulette volunteered at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church community suppers, enjoyed the company of her beloved dogs and all of nature’s wonders, and nurtured relationships with her loved ones. Paulette was always up for a raucous game of cards or the challenge of a new puzzle. Her sense of humor was ever present throughout her life.
In addition to her mother, Paulette is also survived by 3 sisters, Stefanie R. Ferrecchia and her partner Bobby Kays of Marlborough, Pamela A. Naves of Gibson, NC and Joanne Colley of Wells, ME; her nieces and nephew, Christie, Aaron, and Jenna Ferrecchia, Gabriella Perez and Isabel Grubb; her dearest friends, Mary Parker and Gene Tivnan, and her furbaby Sadie. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Jeanne Naves. She is also survived by her nephews, Scott and Tom Colley, and her nieces, Julie Carter and Nancy de Fiebre.
