Peter F. Santos, 50, former longtime resident of Hudson, currently residing in Somerville, passed on at his residence on Wednesday, May 28th. He leaves his three sons, Connor, Carter and Cole Santos and their mother Karen L. Dunton Santos, all of Windham, Maine.
Peter was born in Worcester and raised in Hudson, son of the late Joaquim P. "Jack" Santos and survived by his mother, Patricia (Davis) Santos of New Hampshire. He attended local schools and was a 1981 graduate of Hudson High School. He later attended Minuteman Regional Technical School studying as a journeyman plumber prior to becoming a master plumber. Peter owned and operated P.F.S. Plumbing and Heating, Inc. of Hudson from 1989 to 2009 and many knew him as the plumber with his dog "Bud" who faithfully worked with him every day.
Peter was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature. He enjoyed listening to music in his spare time, was a historian buff and a loyal New England Patriots fan. He loved cooking and his family always enjoyed the special dishes he prepared for them. He truly cherrished and enjoyed spending time with his three sons along with his other family members and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his mother, three sons and their mother, he is survived by his sister, Donna Foley of Virginia; his two brothers, David Santos and Mark Santos, both of Hudson and his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service and celebration of Peter's life will be held on Friday, June 6th at 12:00 noon in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial services will be held at a later date in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Thursday, June 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
