Philip R. Rooney-82, of Hudson, MA died Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, MA.
He is survived by his wife of fifty two years; Carol M. (Jacobs) Rooney.
Born in Watertown, MA, he was the son of the late Philip and Mary (McGee) Rooney .
He was a graduate of St. Patrick's H.S. in Watertown. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a supervisor for the former Digital Corp. in Hudson, MA until his retirement.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children; David A. Rooney of Westminster, MA, Patrick M Rooney of Wrentham, MA and Daniel P. Rooney of Florida. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Kyle, Colin, Owen and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning Street Hudson MA. There are no calling hours.
