Berlin, MA Phyllis A. Stanis, 71, of Berlin, formerly of Hudson, died on Thursday, April 21st at her residence.
Phyllis was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Michael J. and Philomena (Olisky) Pauplis. She was raised in Hudson were she attended Saint Michael's Grammar School and was a graduate of Saint Michael's Academy. She has resided in Berlin the past 20 years. Phyllis was formerly employed as an aid for Bolton Manor Nursing Home in Marlboro and also was employed as a clerk for the former Grant's Department Store in Marlboro. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her six siblings, Diane Pauplis, Leonard Pauplis and his wife Jeannette, Alfred Pauplis, William Pauplis and his wife Mary, all of Hudson, John Pauplis of Wayland, Genia Pauplis of Walnut Creek, California and was predeceased by her brother Michael Pauplas and sister, Johanna Pauplis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 25th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. A calling hour will be held on Monday, April 25th from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
