Pinelopi (Papistas) Kotidou, of Bolton, Ma, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 10, 2019, one day before her 88th birthday. She is together again with her beloved husband Anestis Kotidis, who predeceased her in 1973.
Pinelopi was born on November 11, 1931, in Kozani, Greece a daughter of the late Yiannis and Ourania Papistas. She was raised in Kozani and later moved to Athens where she lived for many years, before immigrating to the United States.
Pinelopi was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed the company of friends and family. She loved nature and the change of the seasons and enjoyed playing the card game of “Biriba” with her friends. Pinelopi was a loving and caring person who always saw the good in people and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She will be truly missed by all who knew her and her memory will be eternal.
A period of visitation will be held on from 6 pm until 9 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA. She will be interred at Chalandri Cemetery in Greece at a later time.
