Rachel V. (Ouellette) Morgan, 86, of Sudbury, formerly of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Sudbury Pines Extended Care Facility, after a period of declining health. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 57 years, David S. Morgan, who predeceased her in 2011.
Rachel was born in Laconia, N.H., on October 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Levasseur) Ouellette. She was raised in Laconia, where she graduated from high school and met her beloved husband David S. Morgan. As newlyweds they were stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington D.C., while David honorably served his Nation in the United States Air Force. They later settled in Hudson where Rachel resided for the past 60 years. She was a devoted homemaker, who dedicated her life to raising her family and caring for their home. She was a former parishioner at Christ the King Church in Hudson and enjoyed bowling.
Rachel is survived by her three children, Bruce D. Morgan and his wife Lori of Holden, MA, James M. Morgan of Edwardsville, PA and Sally A. Morgan of Hudson, MA; 6 grandchildren, Amy Morgan, Craig Morgan, Ryan Morgan, Ethan Morgan, David Fenton and Olivia Tobey; 6 great-grandchildren, Matthew Morgan, Derek Morgan, Emilia Morgan, Jack Morgan, Clara Morgan and Sage Morgan and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Laurent Ouellette, Dee Ouellette, Raymond Ouellette and Claire Carrier.
All services will be held privately. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with her arrangements
