Ragna Inga Maria Ladewig

Ragna Inga Maria Ladewig, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Friday December 3, 2021 in Hudson, MA.

Born and raised in Norrkoping, Sweden she is one of 2 children of the late Karl and Anna Krafft. Ragna lived in Sweden until age 19 when she then moved to the United States. After raising her three children (youngest still in high school) she attended college and received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She worked at Valley Hospital, making many dear friends, until she retired. She lived in New Jersey, surrounded by dear friends, for the majority of her adult life until recently when she decided to move to Hudson, MA to be closer to her daughter, Linda.

Ragna, best known as Ronnie, was loved by everyone. There wasn’t a person who crossed paths with her who didn’t immediately fall in love with her warmth and kindness. In her spare time she loved scrapbooking,creating personalized cards for the holidays to send to family and friends and gardening. She deeply enjoyed spending time with her family most whether it be sharing stories of her life, cooking and planning family events, or baking delicious treats for the holidays. Ronnie stayed true to her Christian beliefs and would often say “when it is my time, I will have gone home to be with my Lord”. Ronnie also enjoyed traveling.  For her 75th birthday she went back to Sweden and had a great time visiting family and friends. Her most recent trip was on an Alaskan cruise in 2019 with her daughter and granddaughters.

She is survived by her daughter Linda (Ladewig) Fisher; 2 sons Peter and Thomas Ladewig, her brother Karlolov and his wife Gunborg Krafft; along with 5 grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their children. She is predeceased by her parents Karl and Anna Krafft.
