Raymond W. Ledoux, 83, of Hudson, died Tuesday, Nov. 20th at Marlboro Hills Healthcare Center. He was the husband of 47 years to the late Patricia J. (Donnan) who died in 2001.
Raymond was born and raised in Marlboro, son of the late Alfred and Regina (Labossiere) Ledoux. He attended local schools and was a member of the Marlboro High School Football team. Following high school Raymond joined the Massachusetts National Guard and later served his country during the Korean War enlisting in the United States Air Force. He has resided in Hudson since 1970 and was employed as a machinist for many years locally. He worked for Assabet Machine Company of Hudson, Tufts Machine Company of Westboro and retired from Adcole Machine Company in 1997. Raymond was dedicated to his family and loving wife. He cherished the times he shared with them and was proud of the time he spent in his younger days playing the trumpet for a local band. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
He is survived by his children, Raymond Ledoux of East Hampton, Richard Ledoux and his wife Laura of Hopedale and Linda Orlando and her husband Doug of Litchfield, NH. He is also survived by his brother, Carl Ledoux of Marlboro; his five loving grandchildren, Joshua, Nikolas and Sadie Ledoux, Jake and Luke Orlando and his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 24th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, Nov. 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
