Richard A. Bilodeau, of Hudson died Wednesday, Aug. 13 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends. He leaves his wife of 3 years, Patricia A. (Colombo) Sullivan Bilodeau of Hudson.
He was born in Marlboro, son of the late George A. and Maxine (Pearl) Bilodeau and was a lifelong resident of Hudson. He attended local schools and was a 1968 graduate of Hudson Catholic H.S. He was employed as a truck driver for United Builders Co. of Framingham and was a former employee of Davis Brother's Paving Co. in Hudson for many years. He was a member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks, former member of the Hudson Eagle's, former member of the Marlboro Men's Flag Football League, former member of the P.J's softball team in Hudson and participated in the annual Bar Lunch of Hudson Cribbage League for many years. He was an avid Patriot's and Red Sox fan.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother, James Bilodeau and wife Terri of Monument, CO; his 4 sisters, Barbara Keefe and husband Andrew, Janice Howes and husband George and Renee Parke and husband James, all of Hudson and Linda McManus and husband Matthew of Bolton. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Jo Anne Sullivan of Hudson; his step-grandaughter, Julie Ann Burgess and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Bilodeau who died in 1995.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 18 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
