Richard L. DeBeradinis Sr., 65, of Webster, formally of Hudson, MA died suddenly Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at home after being stricken ill.
Born in Marlborough, MA, he was the son of Leo DeBeradinis of Berlin, MA and the late Bertha (Gaumond) DeBeradinis who died in 1992.
He was a graduate of Hudson H.S. class of 1960 and a member of the former Hudson National Guard in the 1960's. He was employed as a mechanic for the former Washington Street Motors in Hudson and Durand Chevrolet of Hudson, retiring in 2002.
Besides his father, he is survived by his son, Richard DeBeradinis Jr. and his wife Kerstin of Hyannis, MA; his daughter, Michelle Marsh and her husband Todd of Princeton, MA; his 5 brothers, Harold DeBeradinis of Marlborough, MA, Stephen DeBeradinis of Harrison, ME, C.J. DeBeradinis of North Brookfield, MA, Leonard DeBeradinis of Clinton, MA, and David DeBeradinis of Farmington, ME; and his sister, Carol Marcheterre of Berlin, MA. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Morgan, Tristan and Liam Marsh, Nicholas DeBeradinis; his longtime friend and companion, Merrie Shonbeck of Webster, MA; his former wife, Gail (Millman) Downing of Hudson, MA and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Kenneth DeBeradinis who died in 1992 and Linda Fuller who died in 1985.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph's The Good Provider Church, West Street, (RT. 62) in Berlin, MA. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Berlin. Family and friends may attend calling hours Friday, August 31, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc.
